Printing an Excel sheet should be a two-second job. Ctrl+P, hit print, done.

You expect 2 pages. You get 20. And you have no clue what you're looking at, because the headers are missing. The chart's cut in half.

So you try to shrink it to fit. Now you need a magnifying glass to read anything.

And yes, this happens with PDFs too. "Print to PDF" doesn't save you from any of it. It just makes the mess portable.

I remember the first time I bothered to actually find the settings (yep, it took a while) and create a printout with page numbers, my boss looked at me and said, "You can add page numbers in Excel?! I thought only Word could do that!"

Here's the good news: almost every printing disaster in Excel comes down to the same handful of settings, and once you know where they are, you can fix any of them in under a minute.

None of this is complicated. It's just scattered across menus nobody opens more than twice a year, which is exactly why it feels harder than it is.

🤖 Your regular Copilot can now talk to Power BI

Microsoft 365 Copilot (the one in Word, Excel, Teams) can now answer questions straight from your published Power BI semantic models. Ask "what was revenue last week?" in Copilot Chat, and it pulls a grounded answer. You don't have to open Power BI and hunt for the right report. Copilot does it for you.

Before you get too excited: this doesn't mean that you can now build reports or write DAX with your standard Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Power BI Copilot is still a separate product, gated behind paid Fabric or Premium capacity. What's new is asking questions, not building the model.

Good reason to make sure it's actually modeled well. 👀

✈️ Your company can now write its own Copilot prompts

Admins can publish custom prompts into Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, tuned to your org's own terminology and workflows.

Users see them as "Suggested" prompts right under the chat box, or browse the full library in the Prompt Lab, searchable by keyword or filtered by department. Pick one, fill in the blanks, done.

Only shows up if your admin actually bothered to set it up, so don't be surprised if your "Suggested" section is empty.
